Manifesto, About the Author, my contributions, and here is the Afterword.

Afterword

Yet we must ever remember this: our calling grants us, in truth, naught but the merest uppermost layer -- skimmed from that truth which stands, unwavering and central, beneath the gaze of Science. Under the proud banner of problem-solving, we shape and refine this thin layer into rods; we brandish them aloft, apply fragments as makeshift fits, or wield them as weights by which to measure. In so doing, we grant ourselves the illusion of understanding: a pure, immense, and unbridled force -- sheer in its violence.
Let us never forget, as a wedge driven firmly into our own hearts, the necessity to remain ever mindful of this.

Acknowledgements

One acknowledgement should be made here -- my ideology does not stem from my nature.

It is as though I am borrowing the metaphor of the abyss from Jonathan Wolff.

We must never be high and mighty, but only barbarians of wisdom, and we must always be open and honest, and keep being enlightened with attentive ears.
